Following a directive from the Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court, the state's CET cell issues a circular, granting eligibility to students who completed graduation through open universities with preparatory programs to participate in the CET for the LLB three-year program. The court order allows these candidates to fill the CET application form and engage in the centralized admission process for the law course. Last year, the CET cell had relaxed norms, enabling open university students to apply for the law program.

The Haryana Parivar Pehchan Authority (HPPA) and Citizen Resources Information Department (CRID) have released the Stage II examination answer key for the CRID CPLO Exam conducted in collaboration with DCRUST University. The Stage 2 Admit Card was issued on January 29, 2024, and the exam took place on February 4, 2024, with the answer key released on the same day. The ongoing recruitment process for Panchayat Local Operators involves tasks assigned by CRID and HPPA, as well as Gram Sachivs in Panchayats.

The board, which introduced QR codes on papers to prevent leaks, traced the culprits through the codes and found evidence of intentional exam disruption.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CSIR UGC NET December 2023 results for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship. The Computer Based Test was conducted on December 26-28, 2023, with 2,19,146 candidates registered. The scorecards are available on csirnet.nta.ac.in. The Bihar Education Department now requires contractual teachers to pass a competency examination within three attempts, or face job loss. The decision, announced by the committee chaired by K.K. Pathak, follows a December 26, 2023 cabinet proposal granting government employee status to 3.5 lakh contractual teachers, contingent on passing the competency test.
