Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurates all-girls Sainik school in Mathura

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the first all-girls sainik school, Samvid Gurukulam Girls Sainik School, in Vrindavan. The school has a strength of about 870 students and is part of the initiative to establish 100 new sainik schools in partnership with NGOs/private/state government schools in all states/Union territories. Singh praised the school as a beacon of light for girls who aspire to join the Armed Forces and highlighted the government's commitment to women empowerment in the military. NDMC to Provide 9,000 Computer Tablets and Upgrade Sports Infrastructure in Schools

New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) plans to improve facilities at its schools by providing computer tablets, setting up nature-based classrooms, and establishing a wrestling centre. The council aims to achieve Viksit Bharat@2047 through modern infrastructure and green energy.
